In August of 1986, Mid-America Piano sprouted from a small seed. With 3 used pianos, a 900 square foot warehouse and a worn-out church van, Dan Murphy started Mid-America Piano in his hometown of Manhattan, KS. Word quickly spread that Mid-America Piano was the place to shop for quality, selection, value and customer service. As the business has grown, these criteria have never changed. Over 33 years later, we are proud of our hard-earned reputation as one of the best places in the country to find quality pianos at affordable prices. Although we are known nationally for our selection of quality “like-new" pianos (by Steinway, Yamaha, Baldwin, Kawai, Mason & Hamlin and more), we carry a great variety of new grand, vertical and digital pianos as well. From starter pianos to concert grands, new models to vintage instruments, we have the selection to satisfy every customer's needs.
