Established in 1980, Metro Ministries is a Christian, nonprofit organization that serves low-income children and their families throughout New York City and various urban centers around the world. The organization operates more than 150 sites in New York City and maintains a presence in the Philippines, Romania, Italy and South Africa. It runs one of the largest Sunday schools in the world serving more than 42,000 children with child sponsorships and special programs.
