Mercy Center was established in 1960 by the Sisters of Mercy and Catholic Charities as a school for children with disabilities. The center is located in Worchester, Mass. It provides comprehensive educational and employment training opportunities for students with developmental disabilities, mental disabilities, sensory impairments, and physical challenges combined with attention, communication, motor, medical and behavioral involvement. Its programs are designed to maximize a student's independence with a goal of full participation. The center operates full-day sessions during regular school days.
