North Carolina MENTOR serves children with a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges. Our services for children and families are tailored to the unique needs of each child and family, respecting the hopes and vision they have for their own life directions. North Carolina MENTOR's family-centered services help children with behavioral health challenges such as trauma, depression, and substance abuse thrive in school, at home, and in their communities-wherever their life journeys take them. We tailor service to each family's unique needs, with treatment plans designed to help the whole family, including children, parents, foster parents, and other caregivers make the most of their natural strengths and abilities to succeed. Our services are based on two clinical models, Family visits, and Family Centered Treatment, which use best practice clinical tools designed to strengthen family relationships and help them learn to grow through crisis in a positive way.
