Memphis Tutorial Association. MTA has been serving the Greater Memphis Area for over 30 years. Quality abounds in the largest and oldest tutorial service in Memphis. We offer tutoring in all academic areas from kindergarten through twelfth grade, as well as some college-level and post-graduate tutoring. Because we provide a multi-disciplinary approach, we are available to work directly with all individuals concerned with the student, including parents, teachers, counselors, and psychologists. The student will have the same tutor at each session, and each session will be one-on-one. There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions, and there is no additional testing or assessment fee. Through our tutoring, we have found that most students do not know how to study effectively. Seldom are they afforded the opportunity to learn how to perform this important task. We have developed our own unique How to Study course and have taught it to thousands of students through classes in private and public schools, as well as in one-on-one tutoring sessions. Facing the ever-increasing academic challenge of schools, all students can get an extra boost from this course.
