About Marine Oil Service, Inc was established in 1958 to meet the growing needs of the marine lubricants market. From its corporate headquarters located in Norfolk, Virginia, the company has grown to meet increasing lubricants demand from Canada to Florida. An outgrowth of Anders Williams & Company, which was incorporated in 1926, Marine Oil Service has gained the trust and confidence of all major oil companies by providing safe, efficient and environmentally conscious transfer of their products by water and land with six small oil tankers and a fleet of trucks. Delivering millions of gallons of lubricants each year, Marine Oil accelerated implementation of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 by building the first, purpose built, small double hulled tankers in the United States ten years in advance of the 2015 regulatory deadline. Two double hulled tankers are now deployed in New York Harbor and one in Virginia, with the construction of two more planned. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, Marine Oil delivers and sells marine lubricants, aviation and industrial lubricants, cylinder oils, military specification (mil spec or MS) lubricants, and other specialty lubricants and greases.
