Marietta Police Department comprises patrol division, traffic, detective and records bureau, and communications department. The department offers various services to the residents, including traffic enforcement, neighborhood watch and business coalition meetings, community problem-solving activities, ongoing police training and several other law enforcement functions. Located in Marietta, Ga., its detective bureau provides follow-up investigations on various criminal matters. The bureau comprises a detective sergeant, five full-time investigators, civilian court liaison officers, and civilian crime analysts.
