Marcin Engineering LLC is a civil engineering and land surveying firm located in both the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains along I-70 in Avon, Colorado and at the heart of the Bakken oil field in Williston, North Dakota. Marcin Engineering is dedicated to providing professional services to the Hydrocarbon Industry, Developers, Municipalities, Architects and others. Marcin Engineering LLC has been in business as a Civil Engineering consulting firm since 1997 and has performed Land Surveying since 1998. Marcin Engineering LLC is a Limited Liability Company registered with the Secretary of State of Colorado and North Dakota. Thomas S. Marcin, P.E., P.L.S., is the Owner and Managing Partner. The firm's scope of services include civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and a comprehensive construction management program. Mr. Marcin has assembled a staff of highly trained professionals that work together to deliver creative yet practical solutions tailored to the specific circumstances of each project. The Marcin team members have worked together extensively for over a decade on general civil and land development construction projects. Each team member brings his own varied experience background to the company forming a multi-disciplined group with a broad knowledge of civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and construction management. Successful projects are the culmination of an integrated approach to effective communication. With that in mind, an environment of positive and effective idea exchange is maintained with our clients, contractors, associates, and within our own office. Over the course of a project we are focused on frequent client meetings, clear and concise project plans and specifications, a fair and competitive contract bidding environment, and an effective three-way relationship between Owner, Contractor and Engineer during construction. The Marcin office stays connected through the use of broadband internet, frequent emails via an email exchange server, and of course, phone calls. We believe communication throughout our company office is efficient because of the multitude of ways we communicate. Marcin Engineering LLC is equipped with state of the art technology in field data collection and office automation. We run a fully automated office with top of the line, high speed computer systems and cutting edge software including AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 for engineering design, land survey, and plan production. Our field surveying equipment includes robotic Geodimeters, Pentax Total Stations and Lieca GPS receivers, all with automated data collection and field staking features. Marcin Engineering LLC employs 20 people during peak season.
