Mac Tools was conceived in 1938 as the Mechanics Tool and Forge Company by seven men with the common goal to manufacture the finest tools in the world. On July 11, 1938, the articles of incorporation were signed and officially recognized by Ohio. The company has a product line in excess of 8,000 items and still uses the direct sales approach with a mobile sales force of distributors. It is also the proud sponsors of two National Hot Rod Association events: The United States Nationals in Indianapolis and the Gatornationals, in Gainesville, Fla. Mac Tools developed a relationship with the team at West Coast Choppers, home of the popular Discovery Channel show 'Monster Garage,' in 2003. The company has also formed relationships with The Learning Channel s Overhaulin and Rides and MTV s Pimp My Ride.
