The breathtaking wilderness of the San Juan Mountains at 10,000 feet and an environment of serenity and unspoiled nature welcomes you. The Ranch’s six pristine, charming, and fully-furnished rental cabins offer a unique and exceptional experience. Completely off-grid, but far from roughing it, our guests come to the Ranch to bask in the comforts, conveniences, and beauty of our cozy cabins and magnificent mountains. Our relaxed atmosphere provides the perfect back drop for a family vacation or a romantic weekend get-a-way. Ranging from the rustic Little Dude Cabin to the expansive Meadow Manor, each cabin provides special characteristics and charm which appeal to individual wants and needs of our guests. Guests come here to have their own place and space and do their own thing. There's plenty to do, or nothing at all. ~ We're about an hour's drive from the fun little mountain towns of Creede and Lake City - both worth visiting for a day trip, though most of our guests come here to "get away" - to kick back, relax, breath in the high mountain air, and enjoy the unsurpassed views. Our guests are families and fishermen, couples looking for a romantic get-away and individuals looking for a safe, private, picturesque retreat. They are returning for the fourth generation and first time discoverers. They come here to get away. They are not here to be catered to, but to have their own place and space and do their own thing. To be in the mountains - enjoyed from their front porch kicking back with a tall glass of sweet tea or out on a long days hike up Lost Trail Creek trail to Slide Lake.
