Established in 1979, Logan Emergency Ambulance Service also known as LEASA provides prehospital medical and rescue care to the residents of Logan County in West Virginia. LEASA operates a hazardous materials response team, and more than seven advanced life support ambulances that offer services to Logan County 24-hours, seven-days a week. Its critical care team serves southern West Virginia for critical interhospital transports. LEASA also provides various rescue services to the community, including heavy, rope, trail and water rescue, and search. It provides nonemergency transport services on a daily basis that include clinic visits, doctor appointments, and dialysis treatment. Based in Logan, W.V., LEASA operates emergency medical service stations in Chapmanville, Logan, Man, Omar, Sharples and Harts.
