Lisa M. Regan, Esq. is a divorce and family law attorney at Weinberger Divorce and Family Law Group, LLC. Ms. Regan’s practice is exclusively focused on assisting clients throughout New Jersey with their family law and matrimonial matters, including divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, parental relocation, post-dissolution matters, domestic violence, guardianships and special needs trusts, and all other related family matters.
Lisa Regan was drawn to family law based on her desire to help people safeguard what they hold most dear — their children, their home and other assets they have worked so hard for, and their ability to create a secure and bright future for themselves. Lisa finds true meaning and purpose in helping people overcome their challenging circumstances. As a family law attorney, she is dedicated to providing her clients with the quality representation they need to move forward with their lives in a positive way.
Drawing upon her vast experience and skill in this area of the law, Ms. Regan understands the importance and sensitivity of family law matters and is passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. Ms. Regan deeply appreciates the uniqueness of each family law matter and is meticulous about keeping her clients informed about their legal rights and range of outcomes for every major decision in their case. Ms. Regan is equally skilled at providing meaningful advice when low conflict resolution, such as negotiation or mediation, are needed as she is at presenting complex arguments and zealously advocating before a judge. As an added benefit for clients with children, Ms. Regan has significant experience helping parents involved in contentious custody disputes to find solutions that protect and strengthen parent-child relationships and establish positive co-parenting relationships. Ms. Regan is also experienced with establishing guardianships and special needs trusts and is able to fully address and protect children with special needs during a divorce, custody, or support matter.
Lisa Regan graduated cum laude from Montclair State University and received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey.
During her time at Rutgers Law School, Ms. Regan served as a legal intern for the Honorable Bryan D. Garruto, J.S.C., Middlesex County Family Part (now retired) and for the Honorable Catherine I. Enright, P.F.J., Morris County Family Part. Ms. Regan also gained valuable experience when she volunteered with the law school’s Child Advocacy Clinic representing children involved in DYFS (now DCP&P) proceedings and securing social security benefits for children with disabilities. She is an alumni member of Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Honor Society.
Ms. Regan is licensed to practice in New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court of New Jersey.
When not in the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her young son.
