New Yoga Studio in NW Longmont. Hours are approximate. See our schedule for class times. Other visits by appointment only. Left Hand is the “new kid” on the Longmont yoga scene. Our vision is to build a yoga community in the Northwest part of town, starting by gathering a team of superb teachers. Our approach is not top down. We have brought in teachers who are doing something special and unique or are just exceptional and will give them a space to do what they do and the freedom to be creative and experiment. Our approach is to encourage regular practice because we strongly believe that the most significant and life-changing benefits of yoga only come from consistent practice over time, whether in a studio or on your own. Imagine being able to move through life with more ease and grace, having the ability to pause and respond to the aggravations and obstacles life puts in your path instead of just reacting. Yoga can help you be kinder to those you love as well as those you don’t. It can reduce the suffering caused by chronic pain or trauma. Of course, it also improves strength, balance, and flexibility whatever your age. It can help improve and extend your quality of life as you age. It may even extend your lifespan.
