For over 98 years, the Leahy organization has been proud to serve the Danbury area and beyond, through multiple companies and in numerous markets.Leahy's oil business started in 1928 with the addition of the propane business in the early 1930's. At that time, many homeowners were attracted to propane's convenience, and they converted from coal and wood to this efficient means of heating their homes.We have evolved into a company that utilizes the latest in state-of-the-art, high efficiency heating equipment and high-tech, on-board computers in our service and delivery trucks. While still owned by the same local family, we are proud to report that multiple generations of employees are currently working for our company.
