General Info:

A public botanical garden which began as the home of Lilla Leach, exploring botanist, and John Leach her pharmacist husband and community leader. Their four acre property on the banks of Johnson Creek in outer southeast Portland is owned by Portland Parks and operated by a non-profit. Botanical specimens from the Northwest and around the world are on display. The Leach home is sometimes open for tours and is rented for weddings, events and meetings. In 2018, substantial new facilities will be constructed expanding the botanical offerings, gathering spaces and accessible, visitor facilities.
