Ms. Rasmussen is an attorney and mediator and has been in practice 22 years, overseeing a successful general practice representing a diverse clientele in a broad range of litigation and transactional matters. She concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, personal injury, estate planning, mediation and business law. Ms. Rasmussen represents individuals in contested and uncontested divorce and custody matters, juvenile court proceedings, plaintiffs in personal injury actions, and individuals in other matters. Ms. Rasmussen was the President of the Weber County Bar Association in 2009 and served as Treasurer for the Weber County Bar Association between 2010 and 2012. She is also licensed in California and a member of the California State Bar. Ms. Rasmussen is a long-standing member of the Inns of Court and the Family and Juvenile Law sections of the Utah State Bar. Ms. Rasmussen had served as the chair of the Weber County Bar Association Public Service Committee and served as chair of the Weber County Justice Court Judge Nominating Committee between 2010 and 2014. Ms. Rasmussen chaired the 2011 Utah State Bar Spring Convention. Ms. Rasmussen proudly serves as a mentor for the Utah State Bar mentoring program, having mentored six new attorneys. Ms. Rasmussen is a member of the Mentor Training Resource Committee, and has served on the committee since 2011. In 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015, Ms. Rasmussen was distinguished and recognized by her peers as among Utah Legal Elite and featured in Utah Business Magazine as among Utahs top attorneys. She was also recognized as one of Americas most honored professionals and top rated attorney by Martindale Hubbel in 2011, 2015 and 2016.
