Dr. Nikki Kopetzky is a native Nebraskan who has over 15 years of clinical audiology experience working in a large ENT practice. She specializes in the diagnosis and effective treatment of all types of hearing disorders and regularly works with patients of all ages. Her passion is learning about the individual hearing challenges of each patient and then matching each patient with the best hearing technology to meet their needs and budget. Dr. Kopetzky became interested in audiology from a young age after accompanying her dad, who has bilateral significant hearing loss, to audiology appointments. As a result, she grew up understanding the positive impact successful treatment of hearing loss can have on a persons career, family, and social interactions.
Dr. Kopetzky received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and she received her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia. She has been actively involved in many professional organizations. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and a member of the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA), where she is a past board member and committee chair. She has also been a past educational speaker at the NSLHA state convention and has served as a preceptor for graduate students in the audiology program at the University of Nebraska since 2009.
Dr. Kopetzky lives on a small acreage with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. She loves all outdoor activities but spending time at the lake or camping with her family are among her favorite activities. Dr. Kopetzky also enjoys running and typically completes at least two half marathons and one full marathon each year.
