Kokeʻe Natural History Museum Kokeʻe Natural History Museum, located just past mile marker 15 on the road up to Waimea Canyon, is open 365 days a year from 9am to 4:00pm. Kokeʻe Museum provides trail information and sells maps trail maps. Knowledgeable staff and volunteers are happy to help you decide on the trail(s) for you and advise you of current conditions and hazards. Exhibits give visitors an overview of the natural and cultural history of Waimea Canyon and Kokeʻe State Parks. The gift shop carries unique gifts as well as informative books, recordings, and DVDs that illuminate the natural and cultural treasures of Kaua'i. Suggested donation, $3.
