Established in 1973, Senior Citizens of Kodiak Inc. provides health, education and social services to senior citizens. The center offers a range of services, such as meals, outreach, preventive health and health equipment loan program. It also offers transportation through Kodiak Area Transit System (KATS), a coordinated transit system. The center works with the Kodiak Area Native Association and Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. Senior Citizens of Kodiak, Inc. is a nationally accredited senior center in the State of Alaska.
