Come see what we call our "Secret Smokies" in Tennessee! See Cumberland Plateau, the world's largest, which extends past the Smokies! You can go to the big destinations and pay the tourist trap prices or save money here! You'll say WOW - Come see why! As one of the highest award-winning parks, we may be a KOA Holiday park but we are still a perfect over-nighter too, (1/2 way to Florida), or make us your outstanding destination! We are in-between Nashville and Chattanooga on I-24, in the Heart of the beautiful Tennessee. "The greatest state in the land of the free" (Walt Disney's Davy Crocket song)! We are in the middle of 3 cities; Huntsville, Nashville, Chattanooga. You could camp with us and drive your tow to enjoy them all! Plus , the Manchester KOA is near what we like to call "The Secret Smokies". You'll see caves, waterfalls, nature trails, a natural bridge arch and bountiful wildlife! We are at the beginning of the Cumberland Plateau, which extends all the way past the Great Smoky Mountains. (And the best part is, you don't have to spend the tourist trap prices of the Smokies!) Tour Jack Daniels and George Dickel Distilleries! See a National Park nearby, Stones River Battlefield. Unknown to most people, the third Bloodest Battle site of the Civil War. See the Grand Canyon of the South! Two awesome state parks, Stone Fort and South Cumberland. All easy and scenic country drives from our park, using our self guide tours!The Manchester, Tennessee KOA is among KOA's highest award winning parks. Our many awards include the "KOA Rising Star," the "We are Family" awards, TN ARVC Campground of the Year, (all of which only one campground wins), every "Presidents" award ( only 16 KOA's in the whole system have achieved this honor!) and multiple years "Founders" award. We were even in Rolling Stone magazine as one of the top 10 ways to enjoy Bonnaroo! (we have to save 5 copies for our mother!) We hold the highest ratings awards from Goodsam's Directories and we win the award of the "Top Campgrounds in North America" every year! Reserve America voted us the "Top Outdoor Recreation" award.
