Joseph Kiley owns and operates Kiley Funeral Home. He is a 1989 graduate of New England Institute with an A.S. in funeral service and is a 1993 graduate of the University of Maine, Orono with a B.S. in business administration. He has lived in Brewer most of his life and has been operating the family business since the early 1990's with his uncle, Lawrence Kiley, his wife, Heather ( Johnson ) Kiley and his mother, Mary Kiley. Lawrence Kiley, who gained interest and experience working for Bangor-Brewer area funeral homes in the 1950's, established Kiley Funeral Home in 1963. He is also a lifelong resident of Brewer, graduated from the University of Maine and New England Institute and had taught high school in Brewer for ten years in the late 50's and 60's. Garry Gilpatrick is a 1986 graduate of Husson College and New England Institute and operates Kiley Funeral Home with the Kiley Family. He owns and operates Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home in Hampden, Maine and has been a resident there for 10 years. Kiley Funeral Home is a small family owned and operated funeral and cremation service provider located at 69 State St. in Brewer, Maine and we have been serving the greater Bangor-Brewer area and southern Penobscot county since 1963. The Kiley Family has always taken a practical approach to funeral service by making personal service a top priority and by trying to keep prices affordable.
