KECI-TV is the main television station of NBC Montana in Missoula, Mont. NBC Montana includes two semisatellites KCFW-TV, Channel 9 in Kalispell and KTVM, Channel 6 in Butte. The stations air the same programs, but KCFW and KTVM air their own commercials and newscasts. It is owned by Bluestone Television, and reaches more than 200,000 households. Its coverage area includes Salmon, Idaho, and parts of Alberta, Canada near the United States-Canada border. The station provides tapes and transcripts of its news programs and past episodes of favorite shows and movies. It broadcasts several shows in high-definition format, including "American Dreams," "Crossing Jordan" and "The West Wing."
