Kanakuk Kamps motto is exciting adventure in Christian athletics. The organization is eight non-denominational Christian summer sports camps. Seven camps are located in southwest Missouri and one camp is in southwest Colorado. It caters towards children ages seven to 18 and features seven, 13 and twenty-five day terms. It focuses on teaching kids to have Christ-like attitudes in relationships and on the field and courts of sports. Founded in 1926 as a ten-week summer camp for boys, Kanakuk-Kanakomo Kamps has grown into a network that hosts more than 20,000 boys and girls each summer. Kanakuk-Kanakomo headquarters are in Branson, Mo.
