We carry limited-edition, handmade clothing, jewelry and handbags both Made in the USA as well as fair trade/ethically sourced collections made overseas. Jute & Jackfruit caters to emerging and independent female designers with unique, cutting-edge style. Jute & Jackfruit is committed to sustainability and also ethical/fair business practices. Jute & Jackfruit's clothing is made from the highest quality eco-fabrics such as certified organic cotton, organic pima cotton, organic wool, cashmere, Tencel, soy and recycled fabrics among other fabrics. The designers we partner with are committed to sustainability beyond their fabrics and produce their garments in an eco-friendly fashion, such as using eco-friendly packaging, sewing clothes locally and recycling materials. Jute & Jackfruit runs our entire business with sustainability at the forefront, using recycled paper products, buying electricity through wind-power, offsetting our carbon footprint at shows and recycling our boxes. We are also a member of One Percent for the Planet, donating 1% of our revenue to environmental causes every year, and Jute & Jackfruit is also an approved business member of Green America, America's oldest and largest non-profit committed to environmental and social justice. Careful attention is given to how the clothing we carry is made, ensuring that it is ethically sourced. The majority of our collections are handmade in the USA such as Prairie Underground,, and others. Those that are imported, we ensure are fair trade and fair labor. For example, Indigenous Designs has been a pioneer in organic and fair trade clothing for over 15 years, working with women's cooperatives in Peru.
