After graduation from the university of Texas medical school in Houston in 1997. HE completed HIS surgery training and has been a private practice general surgeon in Texas for the past 15 years. The last 10 years in Austin. DR. Johnson is board certified in general surgery by the american college of surgeons. HE is trained in minimally invasive surgery. Including advanced LAPAROSCOPIC and robotic techniques. Primarily based in the south Austin area. DR Johnson has privileges AT most of the hospitals and surgery centers in south Austin. HIS practice is wide in scope in that it ranges from the treatment of “lumps and bumps” in the office to surgical interventions including but NOT limited to gallbladder surgery. Appendectomies. Hernias of ALL types. And bowel resections for benign and malignant disease.
