Established in 1975, John T. Henry Auction Company has been serving Horry and surrounding counties for the past 5 decades. Our company is a family run business that continues to grow everyday! The company was started by owner John Henry Jr. and his wife Margaret. Their son, John Henry III, became an auctioneer and joined the Auction family. The original auction house was the familys horse barn which on sale days the horses would be moved to the pasture so auctions could be held. In 1993 the old horse barn was destroyed in a fire and the Henrys had to rebuild. The new building is located on the old horse barn site, but just a little bit bigger! Today the barn is nearly 7,500 square feet and houses weekly auctions.
