My focus is helping people recover from injuries, reduce pain and improve range of motion, with more than 17 years of experience and training in eleven massage therapies. I look for the cause of the problem and seek to relax it rather than just chasing the pain. Sometimes the body needs to go through a form of unwinding, and I look for the "twists" in the body that want to be unwound. I will also teach you how to listen to your body and feel connected in a relaxing way again. I help weekend warriors recover from gardening injuries as well as athlete's seeking to improve performance in sports like climbing or running. I specialize in neck, jaw and shoulder pain. I have also been trained in Intra Oral Massage for those with jaw pain or tinnitus. Therapies include: Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Intra Oral Massage (for TMJD jaw and neck pain), Sports Massage, Cupping, Sound Therapy, Visceral Manipulation (for intestinal disorders), Active Stretching, Reflexology Energy Balancing, Tuning Forks and Myopolarity. Sometimes releasing muscle memory (injuries or trauma) can result in breaking old pain patterns. I received massage therapy for TMJD (jaw pain) as a teen and recovered after the deep tissue work I received. This inspired me to be an LMT and to specialize in Myofascial Release, Intra Oral Therapy (for jaw pain) and Deep Tissue for neck injuries. My education in massage is aimed at helping people reduce pain, recover from injuries, and be in tune with their bodies.
