JAFE Decorating, Inc has been in business since 1978 providing specialty color/paint coatings for various industries including: automotive aftermarket lighting, commercial lighting, consumer lighting, restaurant table lighting, pharmaceutical, floral wholesale, ad specialty, outdoor recreation, chrome mirrors serving industrial and specialty automotive, solar filters, and personalized gifts for all occasions. We specialize in putting color and specialty coatings on and in glass. For more than 30 years JAFE Decorating has provided the highest quality, reliability and value to our customers. Our business started with a unique coating process that permanently bonds certain colors directly into the glass. This process actually changes the molecular structure at the surface of the glass to include metal coloring agents. The result is colored glass with the properties of the original glass article, but with a color coating resistant to abrasion, heat, and UV. JAFE is the only company in the US that commercially colors glass using this high temperature, chemical bonding process. Since then, we have developed the capabilities to formulate and apply a wide variety of coatings and colors on all types of glass. We have the flexibility to run small volumes ( tens of pieces ) or large volumes ( millions of pieces ). We also offer thin film vacuum deposited coating services, specializing in convex first surface chrome mirrors and protected silver high reflective mirrors. We offer a variety of unique glass finishing capabilities as well as precision holes with our abrasive water jet cutting equipment. In addition, we have a product development and engineering team in place to help with customer R& D projects and special requests. We take pride in our ability to react quickly to our customers' requests. Our manufacturing is done in our own 35, 000 square foot facility located in southwestern Ohio. We are only 30 miles north of Dayton and 90 miles from Columbus, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. We are only 20 miles from the major interstates of I-70 and I-75.
