The Jackson Police Department s Crime Prevention/Security Watch Division provides services for burglary prevention, security at home and public places, and drugs and violent behavior in children and teenagers. It is owned and operated by the Jackson Police Department, which is one of the chief public agencies in Tennessee that works towards preserving peace, order and safety; enforcing laws and ordinances; and safeguarding constitutional rights. The police department maintains aviation, bomb squad, canine, patrol, criminal investigation and community crime reduction units.
