JHI Ceramic Tile Specialist is a family owned and operated business started in 1970 as Joe?s Home Improvement by Joseph Antich, Sr. - After arriving in the U.S. in 1965 from Italy, Joe work for a local tile & terrazzo company. In 1970, Joe started the home improvement company focusing on tile, vinyl, carpentry, masonry and painting. By the end of the 70's and into the early 80's Joe's Home Improvement had two store locations, one in Carrytown & the other at Southside Plaza. By the late 80's Joe closed the two stores to focus only on the tile and marble aspects of the company and at this time the name changed to JHI Ceramic Tile Specialist. Joe is joined by his two sons, Joseph Jr. & Jim. Being family owned & operated, JHI's commitment to their customers is to provide the best craftsmanship possible by meeting or exceeding our competitors. Our approach to installation is to keep you the homeowner involved as much as possible from the design, layout and installation to the completion of your project. JHI treats your house with the upmost respect by taking proactive measures by protecting existing flooring and walls to maintain the existing conditions of your home. All of JHI's work is warranted for one year after your projects completion date.
