With more than 20 years experience practicing law J. Gregory Matthews was born and raised in Yadkin County, NC. He is a 1989 graduate of Forbush High School. He graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University in 1993, and completed his law degree at Campbell University School of Law in 1998. He is a long-time member of National Republican Lawyers Association, a member of the NTCA Legal Committee, past president of the 23rd Judicial District Bar and the Yadkin County Bar Association. He is currently serving his third term as the public administrator for Yadkin County. He was recently sworn in to the United States Supreme Court Bar in Washington DC, he is a member of the NC State Bar, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals Bar, and the Middle District of NC Bar. His services include real estate closings on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. He counsels and advises clients on estate planning matters, including drafting wills, power of attorneys, and trusts. He represents many local businesses and farmers regarding their business interests in Yadkin County and surrounding areas. He represents and handles many estate matters after the loss of loved ones and has years of experience for the probate court.
