General Info:
Dr. Robin Ivey Jr., DC BS began his studies at Wofford College and continued on to the University of South Carolina where he received his Bachelor of Science in political science. He then attended Sherman College of Chiropractic and served as Class President. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic. His patient internship was completed at the Sherman College Health Center. Dr. Ivey was rewarded for his hard work with acceptance into a highly honored externship in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Since graduation, Dr. Ivey has been active locally, statewide, and nationally. Because of his efforts in the South Carolina Chiropractic Association (SCCA), he was selected by his peers to serve multiple times as the District 9 Representative. He has also served as a local representative with the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Ivey has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg for over 20 years. He has continuously served and contributed to Miracle Hill Ministries, Mobile Meals, the Helping Center, and numerous athletic teams.
Dr. Ivey’s post graduate studies include completion of the Chiropractic Sports Physician Certificate Program, personal injury and trauma programs, neurology and orthopedic studies, stress management studies, weight loss/ diet programs, and exercise rehabilitation programs.
Dr. Ivey has successfully treated many athletes, from the professional players of the Carolina Panthers, to the college players at Wofford College, Spartanburg Methodist College, Converse, and USC Upstate, as well as players from Dorman, Byrnes, Spartanburg, and Boiling Springs. He understands the importance of peak spinal function in significantly elevating the performance level of each individual.
