About InsuranceNet Insurance Net, Inc was formed in 1996 by merging three long-standing independent agencies in Wharton, Texas Worthing Insurance Agency ( 1925 ), McElroy/Hill Company ( 1973 ), and Sweeney Insurance Agency ( 1958 ). Insurance Net, Inc is an independent, multi-line property and casualty, life and health insurance agency. Combined Agents of America became a reality after a period of brain-storming in 1997 among several independent insurance agents across Central Texas. These agents wrote a business plan and method of operation by which agencies would maintain their independence while funneling combined premiums to bring larger volume commitments to the insurance carriers. The group shared this plan with major insurance companies who agreed to it. On October 1, 1007, Combined Agents of America, LLC or CAA was established.
