The Inn is within easy walking distance to the shops, galleries, and restaurants of Brandon, one of the last unspoiled villages in the 'Heart of Vermont'. Visit the new gallery of Brandon's famous Warren Kimble right on Park Street and go next door for an ice cream. Within a short drive you can choose road biking, mountain biking, or hiking in the Green Mountain National Forest, local antique shops, boating and swimming at Lake Dunmore, beer and wine tastings, and the Neshobe Golf Club. Brandon's huge downtown facelift is now completed with new sidewalks, street lights, trees, and 4 small parks in the downtown area. Coming in spring 2020- a downtown location for Foley Brothers Brewery tastings, the reinvented Bookstore in the Briggs Carriage building, pots and pots of flowers, a new location for Barn Opera, free concerts every Wednesday evening in July and August in the new pavilion behind the Brandon Inn.
