IX is able to self-perform associated services including excavating and site grading, electrical and mechanical utility construction and relocation, selective/interior demolition, scrap and concrete segregation and recycling, environmental assessments and remediation, foundation removal, and concrete cutting services. IX manages an extensive fleet of major demolition and excavation equipment including cutting edge technology like the low emission CAT D7E Electric Drive dozer.  IX also maintains a readily accessible 66,000 SF 5 overhead crane bay located in Independence, Ohio as well as a 30,000 SF shop with 20TN overhead crane bay located just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At both facilities IX can address equipment repair and maintenance. IX also employs 10 repair mechanics in OH, PA & WV and owns 8 portable fuel lube trucks and 4 mechanical work stations for portable jobsite repairs. Additionally, IX has the ability to fabricate attachments to specifically address project needs.
