The College was founded in 1960 by Don and Leila Cohoon and is now directed by their daughter, Linda Clifford, who started her career in 1972. The College enjoys a national, as well as international, reputation for quality education and plays an active part in the local business community. Courses are offered in Esthetics, Cosmetology and Instructor Training. Interested students, friends and/or family members are invited to tour the College Tuesday Saturday, 8: 30 -3: 00, by making an appointment with the Admissions Director, at 816-252-HAIR ( 4247 ). The cosmetology industry offers a variety of positions with a wide income range. Those positions include: make-up artist, salon manager, hair designer, educator, business owner, sales executive, esthetician, spa owner, cruise line stylist and platform artist, to name a few.
