Welcome to the official website of the Housing Authority of the City of Bristol ( BHA ). This site has been developed to provide you with a significant amount of information about the programs and services we offer. The mission of The Housing Authority of the City of Bristol ( BHA ) is to "create opportunities for affordable housing in a suitable living environment and to promote self-sufficiency in our community". The Housing Authority of the City of Bristol is a quasi-independent agency that provides housing for low and moderate income families, elderly and non-elderly disabled. Our purpose is to provide quality housing units for our residents by rehabilitating or revitalizing our housing stock and by creating new opportunities for homeownership and affordable housing. We work diligently to find and provide resources necessary to improve the opportunities for success of our residents with programs fostering economic self sufficiency. It is also our objective to help end homelessness in our community by collaborating with local, State and Federal agencies.
