The Hortman family, a family with a rich background in aviation, founded Hortman Aviation in the early 1940 s. Today the flight school continues to train hundreds of future airline and corporate pilots. The school is an FAR Part 141 / 61, CDMV 796C and M-1, F-1 Visa school, offering flight training from the Private Pilot (PPL) through Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) ratings.
