Hopewell is a 150 member Church that has stood in the Claussen community outside of Florence, SC since 1770. We are part of the Presbyterian Church, USA, and are a part of New Harmony Presbytery and theSynod of the South Atlantic.. Our membership includes a good mix of families with young children and teenagers, young adults, middle age and older adults. We try to offer everyone an opportunity to worship God, study about God, fellowship with each other, and serve God and others. Our members are very involved in our worship, whether through the Choir, the Praise Choir, or worshiping in the pews. Worship at Hopewell is a good mix of traditional and contemporary styles that is augmented by specials by the Choir, Praise Choir, and Youth Choir. Pastor Bill has a Time For Children every Sunday and we have a Children's Church time lead by members of the congregation. A Nursery is also available.
