Traditional Classes grades K -11 Hope Christian School was founded in the fall of 2004 for the purpose of educating and training Christian young people for God's glory. Since children are a heritage of the Lord (Psalm 127:3), it is important for Christian parents to train their children with academic excellence as well as with a Christian world view from the Word of God. Hope Christian School is a ministry of Hope Baptist Church. Our goal is to train young people, not only in the academics, but develop within them Christian character and an understanding of the Word of God. A student must not only know how to earn a living, but they must also know how to live to please the Creator of this world. All of our teachers have earned degrees in their field and many years of experience in teaching and caring for their students. Our curriculum incorporates the use of Bob Jones Press textbooks, which allows for a unity of progression throughout the grade levels. Along with the required academic subjects, we include art, P.E., and music classes, as well as chapel and library. Bible is one of the core subjects taught on a daily basis. Hope Christian School is a member of Keystone Christian Education Association, the organization through which all of our teachers are certified. Academic excellence is our goal; therefore, we give the Standard Achievement Tests each year to all of our students. These tests enable HCS and the parents to evaluate student progress. Communication with the home weekly and with these types of tests is vital as we work together to build students' lives.
