Holmesburg Christian Academy (HCA) was established in 1975 as a ministry of Holmesburg Baptist Church and now serves approximately 200 students in Preschool through Eighth grade. We fuse discipleship and creative thinking into every aspect of our curriculum and school culture to individually shape students from various walks of life to be both inspired and prepared to make a meaningful difference for Christ’s glory in an ever-changing world. The exceptional and loving faculty and staff at Holmesburg nurture and develop a biblical worldview at every grade level, preparing your child to compete and thrive in today’s increasingly complex society in a way the honors the Lord. HCA standards far exceed those of public and charter schools by combining challenging academics and diverse extracurricular activities with Christian spiritual formation to cultivate in students a genuine zeal for learning, a lasting moral compass, and a heartfelt desire to make the most of themselves, both in and out of the classroom.
