Founded in 1842 and located in Roanoke, Va., Hollins University is one of the leading liberal arts colleges for women in the state. It is a private university and enrolls more than 800 undergraduates from over 45 states and nearly nine countries. The college offers a wide range of liberal arts and sciences program with over 25 majors.
