The Higgins House is a large, lovely old Queen Anne-style home from the Victorian era. At the moment, it has 3 large, beautiful guest rooms - each with a full ensuite bathroom and very comfy beds. (The ground floor guest room has a low step-in, large shower; the upstairs guest rooms' each have a claw foot tub and shower.) The living room on the ground floor, filled with beautiful antiques, has a baby grand piano available for guests to play. There is a delightful front porch with rocking chairs to watch the world go by, or a restful, private backyard garden with comfy patio furniture to enjoy the flowers and birds. Breakfast is a delicious, gourmet affair - made from the freshest ingredients, served on china and real linens. Complimentary wine and cheese is available, as is a variety of goodies. Downtown, historic Sanford, a short walk away, offers a variety of restaurants, craft breweries, live music, and shops. You can dine your way around the world, and still walk home to bed
