The City of Henderson Public Works Department is responsible for vehicle maintenance, street repairs, solid waste collection and disposal and cemetery maintenance services. The department supervises divisions, including administration, garage, sanitation, street and cemetery. Its garage division provides maintenance and repair services, and supplies fuel for a fleet of vehicles. The street division provides maintenance of streets, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, storm drains and ditches.
