There are basically two types of hypnosis: Direct Suggestion Hypnosis & Age Regression Advanced Hypnotherapy. Direct Suggestion Hypnosis is the traditional way of doing hypnosis. It is when the hypnotists helps guide you into a trance-like state and then gives you suggestions for the changes you want. This, in and of itself, can be very effective, especially when you have an experienced, educated and skilled hypnotist such as Dr. Keli guiding and directing your subconscious mind. There are times when a persons subconscious mind anchors to a particular behavior, belief or negative feeling that is so deeply rooted that even the deepest levels of hypnotic trance created during Direct Suggestion Hypnosis is ineffective or short-term at best. This is where Advanced Hypnotherapy, or Age Regression Hypnotherapy, becomes important in healing your problem at the deepest level. Your subconscious mind is the storehouse of all your memories. Advanced Hypnotherapy allows us to go into your subconscious mind and find the exact imprint and root cause of your negative feelings and faulty behaviors and beliefs. An imprint is something you saw, heard, felt or read that caused you to create a belief which in turn created a negative feeling or self-sabotaging behavior. Dr. Kelis background as a clinical social worker and therapist gives her an advantage in facilitating Advanced Hypnotherapy. Once we find the first imprint, the root cause and the initial sensitizing event of your problem, Dr. Keli will utilize a variety of techniques to reframe those experiences and feelings. This process will allow you to easily alter your behaviors, beliefs and negative feelings that will allow you to feel good and move forward toward a happier, more successful you. Why is it so important to remove negative feelings? Negative feelings are feelings that inhibit you from feeling good and, therefore, can hold you back from doing and being your best. A negative feeling has a detrimental effect on your mind, body and spirit. The only way to effectively and completely release negative feelings is through Advanced Hypnotherapy. Do I have to have Age Regression Advanced Hypnotherapy or can I just have traditional hypnosis? You do not have to have Advanced Hypnotherapy in order to work with Dr. Keli. Some people are more comfortable doing Direct Suggestion Hypnosis. Advanced or Age Regression Hypnotherapy is for those individuals who are ready to do deeper work and get to the true root of their problem so they can release it. This process cannot be accomplished with Direct Suggestion Hypnosis.
