HEMARUS is an FDA licensed facility specializing in life-saving source plasma collection. OUR donors are kindly compensated and CAN earn UP to $300 PER month*. Donors donating for specialty programs MAY BE more highly compensated depending on the rarity of the ANTIBODY. WHY should I DONATE?

YOU will BE financially compensated for each successful plasma donation. Cash or check will BE delivered to the donor upon successful completion. HOW long does it take to donate? your initial visit and plasma donation will take about 3 to 4 hours. First time donors are required to complete a health history questionnaire. Verify ID. Have a blood test and pass a brief physical exam before proceeding to the actual plasma donation process. Subsequent visits average 1½ to 2 hours. Are there ANY adverse effects during or after plasma donation? the most common side effects of donation includes bruising AT the site of donation or becoming light headed or dizzy. However. What DO I need to Bring on MY first visit? YOU must Bring a government issued ID (such AS Driver’s license). Your social security card. The name on your photo ID must BE an exact match to the name on your social security card (or individual taxpayer ID number (itin). YOU DO NOT need to make an appointment. First time donors must arrive AT the center 2 hours prior to closing time. NO exceptions. We are sorry. CAN I donate if I AM pregnant? YOU MAY NOT donate while pregnant or breastfeeding. HOW often CAN I donate? a plasma donor is allowed to give UP to TWO donations within a 7 DAY period. With AT least 48 hours between donations. HOW soon after donating blood CAN I donate plasma? YOU MAY donate plasma 8 weeks after whole blood donation. What if I have questions concerning MY eligibility DUE to existing health conditions or medications? if YOU have questions concerning your donation eligibility DUE to medications and/ or existing medical conditions. What is deferral? if a prospective donor does NOT meet the qualifications during their health screening.
