The Hebrew Academy of Long Beach has been serving the educational needs of the Jewish community for more than 40 years. Its Lev Chana Early Childhood Center provides a range of educational programs for the development of academic, social and fine motor skills. The center also provides instruction in music, library skills, art and computers. The Hebrew Academy of Long Beach's elementary school serves students in grades one through eight. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in several athletic and extracurricular activities, such as basketball, hockey, Yom HaShoah and National Junior Honor Society. In addition, it operates the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls, which focuses on Judaic and secular studies. The Hebrew Academy of Long Beach also operates DRS Yeshiva High School for Boys and Avnet Country Day School. It is located in Woodmere, N.Y.
