The New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland is a joint venture between the Maine Medical Center and Healthsouth. The hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation services. It serves patients with stroke, spinal cord and brain injuries, and cardiac, pulmonary, amputation and neuromuscular impairments. The New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland also manages an outpatient center that administers lymphedema, pediatric, and balance and vestibular programs.
