The Haworth Press publishes scholarly and professional books and journals. It handles almost all of the typesetting and printing in-house, including the printing and binding of approximately 800 journal issues, 80 original books and 120 journal separates each year. Four-color printing is used for all book covers, many journal covers and for color inserts within the books and journals. Haworth s publications are classified by primary subject and clustered under imprints, each of which is headed by an outside academic editor-in-chief. Some of Haworth s imprints include St. Alice Editions, Harrington Park Press, Southern Tier Editions, The Haworth Medical Press, The Haworth Herbal Press and The Haworth Press. The company s diverse international customer base includes institutions, colleges and universities, bookstores, associations, conferences and individuals. The Haworth Press was officially incorporated in 1978. It is headquartered in Binghamton, N.Y.
