We at Hawkeye Home Inspection are not only veterans but natural home inspectors. In construction all of our lives, our inspectors are carpenter/masons by trade and worked with the U.S. Department of HUD ( REAC ) on the development of public housing inspections. Our construction experience evolved naturally into specializing in home inspections for the past ten years. We cover New Jersey, including Middlesex, Essex, Ocean, Union, Hudson, Monmouth, and Somerset counties. A member of FREA ( Foundation of Real Estate Appraisers ), New Jersey-licensed, and a member of the New Jersey Association of Licensed Professional Home Inspectors, Hawkeye Home Inspection is certified by the Federal Housing Authority as a 203K consultant/cost estimator. We specialize in residential properties, with some commercial. We also offer an environmental services package of termite, radon, and mold inspection. We wholeheartedly urge clients to participate in home inspections as a valuable learning experience ; we enjoy educating them throughout the inspection as we learn the house together. One advantage of client participation is reinforcement of our final written report, available by mail or fax within the next day. The computer-generated narratives include problem areas throughout the report, and run some 14 pages. We encourage clients to read our reports carefully. Hawkeye Home Inspection services do not end with inspection ; clients are entitled to complementary follow up advice after their inspection.
